Mecca- Kings Canyon/ Sequoia National Park

Turns out the boys LOVED going to the National Parks so we went on a little trip to Kings Canyon/ Sequoia.  The boys got to earn their Jr. Ranger badge here too although the ranger was a little more strict about filling out the booklet than they were in the Rockies.  Garett didn't get one because he didn't fill out the right book and that ranger was not going to budge about it.  He doesn't have kids.  Luckily Garett didn't mind or else I was going to turn into raging mom.

The drive out of the park was a lot windier than we thought and took forever so we ended up not getting back until dark.  It was a great trip though!
