Garett's 4th Birthday

My little man decided to turn 4 on the 6th.  We really didn't have time to throw him a party and since he is 4 I don't think he even noticed.  We let him open presents in the morning before school (which means he woke up nice and early) and we all got a yummy donut and chocolate milk birthday breakfast.

Waiting, waiting, waiting..

Donuts are yummmy
Then at school he was the snack helper so we brought some cupcakes and frozen go-gurts for ice cream and I came to take pictures (straight from my exercise class- I forgot socks and shampoo so I was lookin' good- his teacher took my pic).
He loves this certificate so much he carries it around to show everyone everywhere he goes

Then after school brothers and he had some of the little cake I made from the leftover cupcake batter.
He is soooooo excited!

At 5 we headed over to the park for Garett's preschool's end of the year potluck.  The kids sang fun songs while Garett stood there playing with his lip.  I don't think any of our kids will ever be performers.  He was also barefoot because I had to drag him out of the sand.  Then everyone sang Happy Birthday to Garett and one of his teachers Miss Karla gave him a big hug :)
What are you making me do?

Ok I smiled for the picture can I go now?

Yeah I'm not having fun here.  The little boy next to him was a singing superstar.

I don't know if I'll ever be able to get this kid to keep shoes on

A huge birthday hug for the birthday boy from Miss Karla
Garett had a great birthday and was just so excited to celebrate his birthday- all day long!  He is such a sweetheart, even if he is a stinker!
