Rub a Dub-dub

Garett got a new bath seat. How do like taking a bath with Ryan, Garett?

Not quite sure? How do you like taking a bath with Ryan and Adam, Garett?

Your brothers LOVE it, but you seem a little wary- of course I would be too if I had to take a bath with people who squish me, lick me, kick me, push me, drag me, cover me, squirt me, and squeal in my face. You are a brave baby, baby!

Cold White Stuff and The Human Response

Yeah, as you can tell from the title I'm a huge Big Bang Theory fan. I wonder where they get all their t-shirts... Anyway, since the temp has warmed up (+20*) we decided to go kill some winter break time outside. Garett has never played in the snow before but I think he enjoyed himself. He really loved "walking" in the snow, but I couldn't get a picture of that. Ryan has always loved the snow and was very excited when I showed him how to make snow angels.

Welcome to 7 Eleven!

Garett is bundles of fun- so much fun that Neal and I fight over who gets to spend not only every waking moment with him, but also every sleeping moment. Whoever coined the phrase "sleeps like a baby" has never had one. I think "sleeps like a teenager" would be more fitting for the definition. And yes- I really wish my baby slept like a teenager because then Neal and I wouldn't be walking zoombies. But don't worry I'm too tired to eat your brains.

Signs of the Season

We are almost all ready for Christmas! The decorations are up and the presents are almost all bought and elves are busy at our house..

If You Like To Potty...

Well, I think the world has come to an end because Ryan has finally potty trained!!! Great job Ryan- we are all very proud of you! After years of trying it took him until 1 week before his 4th birthday for him to want to try and he has done awesome. Finally!

Ryan's 4th Birthday Party

Ryan loves playing doctor, so we did a "doctor" birthday for him. The games were: coloring a body book, Pass the Germ (hot potato), Pin the Heart on the Patient, and drop the tongue depressor in a jar. Then we had some yummy banana cake and opened presents. Ryan has been asking for a Boba Fett helmet for a while so we got him one and he loves it!- although we think he looks more like Dark Helmet in it.

Toothless!

Adam lost his first tooth! He walked into class this morning and it just fell out. He said he didn't remember it being loose or anything. Funny thing was yesterday at Stake Conference the tooth fairy was mentioned during a talk and Adam asked if the tooth fairy was real. Neal told him that he will find out when he loses a tooth. That was quick! Also, Ryan has been potty training...finally. He has earned a toy train (one of his incentives for multiple successes...yeah, it had been on top of the fridge for eight months) and has not had an accident yet today with less than two hours until bed time.

Cutest Baby Ever!!!

Um, yeah- he's a cutie!! I had a lot of fun taking his picture. Sorry mom- there were no pretty leaves up. I guess I'm too late for leaf pictures. But with a face like this who cares!

Trunk or Treat

Okay- why in the world did winter decide to come on trunk or treat night? And why in the world did everyone move OUTSIDE to do the treating when INSIDE was so nice and toasty? Stinkin' Iowa wind. Ryan was afraid of the big bad wolves (ummm- I thought we weren't supposed to have masks) and was cranky and cold, but Adam and I had fun shivering for candy. Good thing Garett's costume was extra warm and I had some nice ear muffs!
Neal- Han Solo, Ryan- Clone Trooper, Adam- Anakin Skywalker, Melissa- Princess Leia, and Garett- Yoda (whoops his head got covered)

Fall Fun

I love to decorate for Halloween!! It is very easy too; just don't clean for a while and your dead plants and cobwebs fit the holiday decor perfectly! I should host my own show.

Fall also means a trip to the local apple orchard which the boys absolutely love!!

We spent 4 hours here playing in the corn pool (Adam's favorite), driving the tractors, looking at the animals, jumping on the jumping pillow, and sliding down the big slide (Ryan's favorite). Plus on our way out we picked some yummy apples (since Adam will only eat apple orchard apples and apples are his favorite thing about fall).

Welcome!!

I am so tired of dealing with Google Sites so I am moving on. Hopefully there will not be anymore feelings of destruction towards the computer and it's components. Here we go!
